Can I just the category I put my Freebie in?

hi there! i just realized that i put my quick page freebie under the wrong category. is there a way to change it, or do i just relist it under the proper category? if so, can i delete the incorrect listing afterwards?

Simple Question

Ok, I have a question. I have never written anything in the forum and i am new to digital scrapbooking. My question is, if you find bits and pieces of kits and things...papers...embell. etc. and you put them together into a totally unique layout etc... or create a different kit with other parts... can you offer those are freebies etc? It's common sense that if you use someone else's work... that you can't claim credit etc... but if it is altered and becomes something totally different. Again, I am totally ignorant when it comes to this stuff... I am simply asking. Thanks.

Hi all,

Just a quick question I hope you guys might be able to answer.

I know that digiscrapdepot is the best place to find freebies, but does anyone know the biggest and overall most well known digiscrap shop?
I've been browsing away, but always seem to end up in shops where there's not much for sale.

I'd like to know a place with a big archive to browse, instead of a measly 10 scrapkits.

Any good links would be highly appreciated!

Dear Fellow scrapbookmembers,

My computer crashed, and I lost most of my scrapbook files and downloads.

I had a kit named "Im more than just a number on a scale" but I lost it, and I cannot remember were I found it! I have searched under: Diet & excersie, but its not there.
The only thing I have is the preview pic of a scale with the 2 legs standing on it! Can anyone advise where I can look for it?

Just out of curiosity... I am new here, and know that copywrighted material is against TOS, but why do so many people use it? Not trying to call anyone out or anything, but if you can buy it in a store (disney, looney toons, etc) isn't it copywrighted? Was just hoping to get some feedback on other people's takes on it. I have been totally enjoying posting some of my designs in this site but for some reasons i am now a bit nervous in posting them:blush: cuz it might be against the regulations. I just downloaded some custom shape freebies from some designers especially from Lady Shannon ( whom I am really very thankful cuz she got lots of them) Is it okay to use them to make my designs and share them as a freebie as well? I hope it is okay because we can really get a lot lot of ideas for designs by using them. Making embellishments has been part of my daily activities and it has been so wonderful for me so I really have to know if it is okay. Thank you so much!

What do the ratings mean anyhow?

I posted my first layout here yesterday and I got two ratings. A 4 and a 2 :-( I don't think that is very good and not very encouraging. I woudl like to get better. Can someone please tell me how I could improve my work. I tried so hard to make it nice and the 2 made me feel lousy at this and now i think I should probably just delete all the kits i bought because what use are they if i am going to make them look bad with my bad layouts.

Hello my name is Cynthia Sanchez. I have recently discovered that multiple files from one of my freebie kits have been pirated on the same blog. Its been going on for months and I had no idea. I didn't realize it until I saw a freebie posted here and I knew they were my files so I rumaged through the blog and what do you know I found my copyright files in 3 more kits of hers that she has been selling. Its been a pain really. I contacted her by email and still haven't gotten a reply so I re-sent the e-mail just incase she didn't get it but Still no reply. I reported the posts to blogger and 4shared I am just waiting for them to remove the files. I created my kits from scratch no actions or anything just from images taken on my DSLR, brushes I made on ps and textures which takes hours and even days and I presented them for free. It really hurts because she left a comment on my because she liked my kit but then she pirated my files not once but 4 times that I know of. I feel so badly because I spent so much time on those kits and even though they werent the best I was still proud of them and now Im being discredited. :crying: I really hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. It feels like a pot of boiling water has been dumped on me. I don't even know if Im going to make anymore freebies because of this. Piracy really does hurt :ermm:

I posted my first layout in the gallery and I totally forgot to add credits for the kit I used and now i dont know how to edit it to add that because i dont want to get in copyright trouble for not adding the right credits so can someone please tell me how i add them or delete the image so i can reload it with the right credits as i am already in trouble here so much with the owner i dont want to make her madder at me for not including credits!

I have been joining different forums and i noticed that this one does not allow people to post other people's freebies and previews while other forums do allow that. i am not sure i understand the differences in why some people think it is okay and other's do not. is there copyrights attached to stuff even if it is free? I really want to understand how it works because i dont ever want to get in trouble for copyright laws. Can someone please explain to me how it works?
