I use photo impact, but only, bacuse GIMP and Photoshop are not willing, to understand me:D

I started in Powerpoint would you believe (think I must be the only person who ever scrapped in Powerpoint, coz whenever I mention it people look at me strangely lol!). Then I realised I could do more in Paintshop, though the version I had was ancient, and then I discovered an even more ancient version of Paintshop Elements which was way easier to use. I decided to upgrade to something more modern last year and made the mistake of busying Paintshop XI, which grinds to a halt on my pc because it uses way too much memory. Then last month I got an unbelievable offer from Adobe and took the plunge and bought Photoshop CS3 which has been a mega learning curve, but I love it!

I ues PSPXI. Still learning and forgetting. LOL One compliant... I had everything organized before the upgrade from PSP7 now it is like starting all over. Great program though. Just takes some getting used to.

I use Photoshop Elements 6.0 and love it. I started on 2.0 and just upgraded last month. I was given 2.0 long before I ever learned about digital scrapbooking and really enjoyed learning to use the program. When 6.0 came out I got it for my birthday and it has been a pleasure to learn the new features and use them. The coolest new thing is the composite feature, you can take 2 group photos and put them together to make 1 photo that actually has people looking at the camera and smiling!!

I use Photoshop CS2 ad have been for a few months now. I love it! Prior to that I used Microsoft Publisher fo rmy pages but I found it so limited. I'll never go back now after using PS CS2! :)

I selected OTHER - as I use Photoshop CS2 - I only got this to design with. Certainly not necessary for the average scrapbooking person. I think I will be learning this program until the day I die. LOL Soooo much to learn.

I started off using a trial version of Photoshop elements 5.0 and was completely confused at first. Then I went over some tutorials and found that it wasn't as difficult as I thought. I bought PSE 4 on Ebay and then upgraded recently to PSE 6 which I am CRAZY about (except for that stupid dark gray background in the brushes palette).:D

I have been using Paint Shop pro and it seems the easiest for me to use I know my way around the program and know how to do most things in it. If I can't figure it out I always have a friend who can.

Photoshop elements, whatever the newest version is. If you are looking to learn any of the Photoshop softwares, there is an author by the name of Scott Kelby that writes books that are awesome to learn Photoshop.

I'm using PSP X,nice program i can do everything with it,only when i want to make backgrounds oh my truobel it take several minutes and somethimes more :w00t:

Well, Photoshop is a heavy program. It takes alot of RAM , also, you need to make sure your scratch (the place your saving to) is not your primary drive, but a backup drive. So you dont kill your main.

I use Scrapbook Factory Deluxe for the most part, but for quickpages & templates I use Paint Shop Pro 9. I want to try Photoshop, but when I downloaded a trial of PSE, every time I opened it my computer freaked out.

I use FXFoto. I started looking around and this seemed to be the easiest one. I can't do all the things PS can, but when I get better at it, I may change. I have only been digi scrapping a few months. Not sure how to do a lot of things, but will learn.

Long Time Photoshop user. Ohhh im showing my age, yuck.:w00t: I used it because i could do so much more than draw cirlces in paintshop lol. I never found out how to do more than that in Paintshop and it was available. I love irfanview though as a quick paste when im working around the web.

I use PSPX. Started off with PSP8 when it was on my computer when I bought it and have upgraded since. I do have PS but have not really tried to do anything with it...got discouraged and went back to PSP. I can't really compare it to other programs since it is the only one that I have used. But, I love it and can get it to do MOST of what I want. Each time though there is something new that I find, some little tool that has been lurking just waiting for me to discover it!

I use Photoshop CS and when I get the new computer we are getting Photoshop CS3.

I don't really know the advantages as it is the only program I have used, at first was incredibly daunting, but now that I am really getting into it, I love it! You can do so much.

So I really wasn't much help at all .. lol
