How do I make glitter?

Can anyone help? I'd love to design some glittery papers and embellishments but haven't had any luck finding how to create a gliter effect. Can anyone recommend any overlays, brushes or Photoshop actions that would help. Or is there another way that I'm missing altogether? With Christmas looming now, there are lots of kits starting to appear covered in glitter and I'm sooo frustrated at not knowing how to do it.

really bothers me, i saw a different one here somewhere, it was a picture of a girl in action and
this was spreaded over the whole page....
i would love to do this to my pictures,.. and a tryed it on my Photo impact with the effet "Tiles" but
thats not what i want..
i heared there is a tutorial for this effekt for Photoshop, but like you all know, i am not getting along with photo shop, so any other idea for me??

I am so amazed with some designers who can make embossed silver strokes in their embellishments. How do you make them. They look so real. I hope somebody can post a tutorial on that. Thanks a lot.

how do I open a RAV. file

When I down load a template in freebies, I some times get a file that is a RAV. file. I've tried to open it with photoshop 6. It will not open..help

duplicating pictures taken at Glamour Shots

Hi,

me again. Nobody ever responses, but I keep trying:P
I have pictures taken at Glamour Shots New Jersey last November.
And everybody knows how spendy they are,... so does anybode know
How I duplicate them? I tryed lots of variations... even went to a German
Printing Company to print them pictures off the sheets onto CD...

At the Printing Company they say, its clear to see for them, but once I
put them on my computer, I see a brush on it like a seal?

Does anybody have an Idea of Photoshop ( i dont get along with photo shop)

question about dark coulours

I have noticed that when I make a kit or layout that has darker colours, like deep jewel tones, they look much lighter in photoshop than they do anywhere else. For instance, the layout I just uploaded ([url]http://www.digiscrapdepot.com/gallery/new-glasses/1019951.aspx[/url]) wasn't nearly that dark in photoshop, in fact, I darkened the pics a bit because they looked too light! Does anyone know how to make darker colours look reasonably similar in photoshop and online?? TIA for any help!!

Template in Grayscale Help

I have a very cool template that is in grayscale. This one for some odd reason, when I add from a kit, turns the stuff grayscale as well. How do I NOT get grayscale but color?

I have PhotoShop Elements 6.

This might be a silly question, but what are the "qualifications" for mini, regular, and mega kits? Is it based on the number of components or is it all a matter of personal judgement from each designer? Any input would be helpful!

Real real really real ribbons

I'm using PSPXI and I see the most wonderfull real ribbons and i really want to learn it. I allready tried textures and wave-effect but I still think it's fake:D Tuts on the net aren't the one I'm looking for.

So who has the really real ribbon tut?:cool:

P.S. On another computer I have Photoshop Elements 3.0 so if there's a tut for that programm it's fine too.

I have just started using Photoshop Elements 5.0 and am stuck before I even get started. I have tried loading my papers into the organiser where the phtos go, but then I cant find anyway to use them once they are there.

Is there another way to load them and all my ribbons, brads etc?

If that is the correct way to load them how do you use them or find them.

Questions about mixing mediums

Well some are Digital and some are to Paper. No this isnt a SAT question, but it does have something to do with printquality and techniques. Im sure everyone will have their own ways so bring them on lets discuss it here.

When printing designs from DigiScrapDepot i feel there is a loss in quality when im printing using a inkjet printer onto cheap computer paper. Whats everybody else doing?

about layer styles

I would appreciate it very much if anybody couod teach me how I can apply layer styles(in photoshop) to another object without affecting the others with the same layer styles like inner or outer shadow, emboss etc. I would like to apply a different style to another object but if I do the other layer style will follow too. i'm using adobe photoshop.. and I don't know how people use the template.. they often use ctrl+G but whEN I applied it in my adobe.. it doesn't change anything ... what should I do with the template..?
