| | Hi l am from Ellesmere Port in England, and have been scrapping digitally since April 07. I think it is fab and l have become so addicted. just wanted you to all know that you can also use the kits to enhance your cards to family and friends by printing bits off on your graphics package on the computer. I always put a pice on the back of the card giving the designer credit as well..... |

| | hi all when you download your freebies you must save them somewhere! You can then open a page on your graphics page and open your downloads up and insert them on the page. I try to keep the graphics page to an A4 size which is about 12x8inches. The parts of your download you want to use can then be resized on the graphics page. You can then print them off on card or paper and put thm on homemade cards. I will do one to show and try and upload onto this site..... |

| | Great point Lynneyboo! I also make cards and have been printing graphics to use on them. What I like to do is print a whole page (letter sized) full of graphics onto a sheet of good quality glossy photo paper. I then cut out each graphic, leaving a thin white border around it. If I'm attaching several to a card...for instance a flower, a flower pot and a bee...I would glue a mat onto the card, followed by the flower. After that I use those little sticky "dots" to attach the flower pot and the bee (giving them a little dimension as they will stand out from the page and give it a more 3D look). The extra graphics I printed will be cut out and added to my "stash" in the craft drawer. If I have to make a crad in a hurry then at least I have some ready made embellishments! Thanks for raising this topic....I'd love to see a gallery for cardmakers here on DSD where we would show off what we've made using some of the great freebies we get here!

| | Hi, from not far from you in Hampshire...well relatively speaking not far!! I have two card makers who are friends and they both use freebies from the site in the cards. Digi Scrapbooking Stuff is so versatile!! Thanks for giving the pointers on doing it...think I'll have a go myself. Hope to see you around the forum and get posting your cards!
