Hello! I am brand new to digital Scrapbooking and I am so excited. I just have a question about actually creating the page. I downloaded a freebie theme and tried to use it in the create tab of elements. I can successfully get the background paper in but when I try to add a graphic that I downloaded it is treated like a photo with a "frame." Do I have to use the magic extractor for every graphic so that it is not in a square frame? Is there something totally obvious that I am missing? Any help would be very much appreciated. Thank you so much!!! Michelle

I do not follow what you are asking.  Are you trying to use a kit and make your own layout or are you using a QP?  I will try to help but I need more information.  His, Teri

I was trying to just use a few graphics that I got from a designer to create a page for my scrapbook. I did figure out my problem though. I was dragging my images all onto the same layer instead of using several layers. When you drag a graphic onto the same layer it looks like it is treated as a regular photo and is put into a frame. So you have to drag the image out onto a separate layer and from that layer you can add it to your background without dealing with the annoying square box surrounding the graphic. Thank you for your time. I am just so new to all of this.
