I would love to be able to do the grungy, clustered look which I think looks gorgeous on other peoples layouts....but when  try it I just never know where to put all the "stuff" and it ends up looking such a mess!

susan i toltally agree with u! grunge never works for me .. even though i like how it looks on other ppl'e LO ... and i want to be able to craete those types! ...

I really like the grungy, messy look ... but NOT cluttered. There is a real knack for putting a layout all together like that.

I tend to prefer clean.  I think it is important to let the photography lead the page.  Too much stuff on a page distracts from a well composed picture.  On the other hand, if it wasn't a great shot, you just want to get the memory down, jazz it up.
