I am rather new to this digi scrapping, and having a ton of fun "going shopping"  In fact my husband is thrilled when I go out shopping this way as opposed to getting in the car and hitting my scrapbooking stores, he says it is easier on the budget!

Anyhow, enough about my anti-shopping husband!

I have found some blogs that offer freebies, and when I have clicked on them to download  the 4Share window opens, and instead of there being a zip icon, there is a bitty little icon that I can best describe as being a small stack of fabric, red and blue and a ribbon tying them together.  I can't seem to open these files and I'm finding that some of them are really so good I would be willing to add whatever I need to my computer to make this type of file compatablie with my system.  Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance if someone can help me understand this.

Nancy

You need WinRAR. Go to Cnet Downloads.net and download it for free. it is Freeware.

Most files are in .rar . extract the file by double clicking the icon -that you put on your desktop. Then you can see the files.

It works just like Winzip.
