I know I said that I would only post tutorials on the weekend, but so far this week I've posted one other besides this one. But, I received an email from Mary asking me about coloring my templates (with the shading, highlights and textures already there). So, I decided to hurry and post this tutorial and template so she could see how it's done.

The template is a valentine heart decoration with both the hightlights, shading and textures on their own layers (this is how I do all my templates that are for sale in my stores). This tutorial will walk you through coloring these and changing the blend modes of the shading and textures to best work.

You will get the tutorial as well as the psd template to follow along as well as the finished example used in the tutorial. (I left the finished example at 3600x3600 so you could see it up close.
